Rosemary and Honey braised figs

Rosemary and Honey Braised Figs with Cheese are like a gift from heaven on a cold Christmas Eve. Pair them with a glass of your favorite red wine and you will hear the angels sing! Serve the braised figs on a cheese platter for a more rustic look or plate them as a single serving when you are feeling fancy.

Not only are you creating a very delicious dish from heaven, you are also contributing to a healthy lifestyle, stepping away from the food coma we all feel around the Christmas season. In fact, the fiber in figs helps to reduce weight and is often recommended for obese people.  A few figs are enough to get the recommended amount of nutrients, so don’t overeat.

So, here’s a delicious recipe. via Abigail Donnelly
