Oh la la… Fromage Saint-Paulin (cheese)

If you’re a huge cheese fan but you aren’t sure whether or not you should include it in your diet, then here are some great news:  Cheese has some awesome health benefits.

Cheese and health

When trying to maintain your health, cheese seems like it would fit nicely on any list of ‘foods to avoid’, but look again. Cheese is a fantastic source of some of the most important nutrients your body needs. Because cheese is a dairy product, it contains a lot of the same nutrients you can find in milk or yogurt, but often in different amounts, depending on the variety of cheese you’ve chosen. One such cheese is  the Saint-Paulin.

St. Paulin

Originally made by Trappist monks, Saint-Paulin is a semi-soft, uncooked, pressed cheese. It is interior ripened for 4 weeks and made with pasteurized milk. Its smooth surface is covered in an orangey red edible film. It features milk and yogurt aromas and reveals a buttery, nutty flavour that is slightly tangy.

St. Paulin is a must have this Holiday Season.
